We had a great Halloween this year with lots of celebrating!
Since Aubrey is in school this year we got to go to her school's trunk or treat. The girls loved it! One of Aubrey's friends in her class actually had the same costume as Aubrey so that was really fun.
One of our good friends threw a Halloween party at her house this year and the girls had so much fun! There were so many crafts, a bounce house, pumpkin decorating and tons of food and treats! The girls had the best time.
Ariana's 1st Minnie Mouse costume fell apart after the Halloween party. It could've been all of her crazy bouncing in the bounce house, so I had to go out and get her ANOTHER costume!
We carved pumpkins at Auntie Nicole's house. This is my pumpkin:
On Halloween, it was a gorgeous day out, and since Aubrey doesn't have to go to school until later on in the day, we did lots of playing all morning!
After school, we had to rush to get ready so we could be on time for the Halloween party we were going to. Ariana decided that while Mommy is running around the house trying to get situated that is the perfect time to hide part of Aubrey's costume. Oy vey. I tried so hard not to yell at her, but she hid part of Aubrey's costume and would.not.tell.me.where.it.was. Talk about pulling your hair out! She could tell I was mad so she went and hid in the front room under the pillows, closed her eyes and (i'm guessing) tried to imagine herself anywhere but where she actually was!
Needless to say, I found the items (she hid them in Aubrey's backpack), got the girls ready and we were off to the party!
All of the kids in our group (sorry for the blurry picture).
Off to trick or treat! Ariana was SO excited! But she had fallen asleep in the car on the way to the party, so she was a bit grumpy for about half of the trick or treating. But, after some candy, Ariana was happy again. Aubrey is a trick or treating pro now so she was good to go!
We had such a wonderful Halloween, and the girls are so sad that they have to wait a whole year to do it again! I think it's safe to say that Halloween is one of their favorite holidays. :)
