Who's the Boss?

This morning Aubrey and Nick had the funniest conversation ever...

Nick and Aubrey had cereal for breakfast and had therefore finished two boxes of cereal and a carton of milk. So Nick went to take these items out to the trash. He was just about to walk out the laundry room door when Aubrey whipped around...

AUBREY: (hands on hips) "Daddy, where are you going with those?!? You're 'posed to put those back!"

NICK: (stunned) "I'm... gonna... throw them away." (looks at Lindsay who is trying desperately to stifle her laugh.)

AUBREY: "Why?!"

NICK: "Because they're empty." (and then, feeling a bit of rebellion because he just got disciplined by his 2 year old daughter, proceeds to say...) "No, you know what Aubrey, i'm going to take the cereal out to the office and eat it ALL."

AUBREY: "WHAT!!! You can't do that!" (has a fiercely mean look on her lil' face.)

NICK: "Why not? Who's going to stop me?"

AUBREY: "I WILL."

NICK: "And how are you going to do THAT?"

AUBREY: "Like this." (runs over to Nick and aggresively tugs and pulls on the bottom of Nick's shorts.)

Lindsay proceeds to bury her head in the pillows in the sofa and laugh hysterically. Nick stands there feeling like he desperately needs a son because there are way too many domineering females in his house.
