Let me back up here for a bit...
Before we even left for dinner, we all had to get dressed in some nice, dinner attire outfits. Aubrey decided that she was going to dress herself. Well, when she came out she was in full winter attire. Fur skirt, fur vest, long sleeve dress underneath AND a Santa hat. Yes, a Santa hat. In August.
Nick and I were both hysterical, but we knew that Aubrey couldn't leave the house like that. Not because we would be embarrassed, rather because she was going to boil in the Las Vegas August heat. We asked her to change and she was SO UPSET. Nick tried to get a picture of her "beautiful" outfit, but she was too upset, so the picture below is the best he could get. I finally got Aubrey in a summer dress but I had to give her one of my fancy necklaces to wear and then she finally got over it. It was seriously hilarious though. She wanted to go out to dinner in August in full winter attire, complete with a Santa hat. :)
Aubrey made me a "birthday bouquet". It was a crayon box, some crayons and some forks. Since we couldn't take it with us we thought we'd get a picture of it. Just so Aubrey's feelings weren't hurt yet again!
A group shot, minus my Dad who was taking the picture.
Presents/cards from my wonderful hubby and girls.
And as far as I am concerned, you are only as old as you look... so that makes me about 24. Thankyouverymuch. :)
