We went to this park right around the corner from our house. We call it the "Western Park". It's a super cute park that has a western theme... wagon's, windmill's, etc. It's cute.

So we pull up to this park and there are two birthday parties going on. On the grassy are there's a pin full of farm animals: goats, chickens, pigs, rabbits, geese, guinea pigs and a donkey. Then there's a couple of horses (not inside the pin).
So what does Aubrey do? Walks right up, as if she was invited to the party, and is the first kid let into the animal pin. She was petting the all of the animals with no fear.
THEN- they start giving horse rides. So, naturally, Aubrey gets in line for a horse ride. Not once, but twice.
My Mom, Doreen and I went and sat on a bench and decided that if anyone asked us if Aubrey was ours we'd deny it. We were so embarressed! But, luckily, nobody said anything. My Dad and Steve stayed with Aubrey and made friends with all of the party go'ers. And nobody said anything...
Nothing like a day full of free activities!!

I can't find any pictures of the donkey, but there was this mini donkey there. Aubrey fell in love with him. She cried when we had to leave (donkey was leaving too but she didn't care), she cried the whole way home and for about an hour after we got home. She loved donkey. I guess our big ol' weimaraner isn't enough for her anymore. Gotta get a donkey! I'm sure Nick won't mind...

that is so funny. Gotta love he embarrassing things our kids do. At least everyone was cool with it and it probably gave them something to talk about for now on.
