Gutter Water

Gutter water... the thing you want to keep your kids out of. Right?

Right.

We had a bit of a rainy week last week. On this particular day, it poured. The rain came down so fast that there was water flowing down our street in about 2 minutes. We were outside right before it started to rain, and once the water started running down our street, I had a choice: Take the girls back inside (kicking and screaming), or let them be kids, play in the water, and get dirty.

I obviously chose the latter.

I'm glad I did. I mean, yeah, when we were done I rushed them upstairs and gave them baths; but watching them play outside in the rain was a lot of fun. And clearly, they both enjoyed it. :)
