This is what I call her "Pirate Smile" (doesn't she look so cute in her dress? Once again, one of those cute dresses that my Mom brought back from England- last year!!):
Pretty much everyone says that Aubrey is my mini-me... But it was quite obvious when I was trying to take a pic of me and Aubrey together- we make the exact same facial expressions. Creepy!
Once we got up to Nana and Pop-Pop's house, Aubrey was given a new gift, which is becoming a ritual every time we go to see them! Aubrey loved her new Dora barn and horses... but she didn't waste any time bossing Pop-Pop around and having fun!
Then it was time to snuggle and watch some Sprout TV.

NOW- a little side story about my weird and wonderful husband. Nick is notorious for screwing up pictures. He drives his mom and sister crazy... and now he's starting to do it to me. What happens is you tell him to take a picture with you, he happily obliges and then when you go to check the picture after you've taken it, you realize that he ruined a great pic by making some ridiculous face. And even though it's hilarious, it's still infuriating!
So here is Nick screwin' up the picture...
BUT- it doesn't stop there people. Then, when I saw that he was being a dork, I said, "Fine, let's take a goofy pic then." So what does he do?!? He let's me and my mom make fool's of ourselves by making ridiculous faces, and he acts like the "normal one" by smiling like he's being a good boy. UGH!!!!!! THIS MAN!

Happy birthday to Val! That is an adorable pic of her and Aubs. And it looks like you guys had so much fun! Aubrey is so spoiled by mom & dad, just like we were! What a lucky child, to be so loved. Hope you all had a great Labor day too...I tried to get the day off, but apparently they won't recognise American holidays. Hmm, sounds like discrimination to me!! Love you all xoxoxo

Nick is such a jokester! Love the family pictures. Aubreys dress is to die for. How fun that she gets cloths from another country talk about one of a kind. You family, and extended family is the best. I think it is great that you all celebrate birthdays together!
